This thirty one box collection consists of records documenting the Alaska Native Brotherhood (ANB) Juneau Camp 2, as well as the whole of ANB between 1920 and 2007, with papers primarily revolving around former ANB Grand President Walter A. Soboleff. The collection is comprised of papers generated while Soboleff was a member of the ANB Juneau Camp 2, as well as while serving as Grand Secretary and Grand President of ANB. While core of this collection documents the actions of Juneau Camp 2 from 1930 to 1980, it also documents Camp 13 of Yakutat and the whole of ANB, especially when Juneau Camp 2 members were ANB Grand Officers. The collection contains a run of Camp 2 meeting minutes and correspondence, as well as reports, organization files, constitutions, financial records, legal files, convention programs, ANB committee papers, files on ANB camps across Alaska, as well as editor files of the ANB news organ Voice of Brotherhood.

Walter A. Soboleff was born 1908 at the Tlingit village of Killisnoo, Alaska. As a member of the Tlingit Nation, Yeil Moiety, and Leeneidi Clan, Walter Soboleff grew up at Tenekee, Alaska speaking both Tlingit and English.
